Dallas in the Second Round of the Playoffs

Hey Renel, pay up!

Told you the Spurs are bound to collapse sooner than later.

And to add to their misery, it came against their rivals, my Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavs win comes as a very historic won as they become the first team to knock of the Spurs in the first round since the 2000 NBA playoffs. They also beat the Spurs two in a row in the playoffs as they also beat them in seven games in the 2006 Western Conference Semifinals. Furthermore, they are the only team to eliminate the Spurs, TWICE, in their home floor in the playoffs since 1999.

Even though the Mavs lost their second round opener to the Nuggets I'm very happy with what they have accomplished this year. They just need their key guys to stay focused and all will fall into place.
